Our Story

Zeker Group is a NSW-based excavation-construction company specialising in electrical, telecommunications, and civil utility infrastructure. From underground services to overhead networks, we deliver the groundwork that keeps modern communities connected and powered.

Zeker (aka ZKR) was originally founded in 2020, and like many businesses - we paused operations for a period during the COVID-19 pandemic, before relaunching in early 2025 with renewed focus and a growing fleet of specialised equipment. Today we take on projects across NSW; from trenching and excavation works to pole-top installations, non-destructive digging, and concrete construction.

Led by Experience

Our founder and director, Carl Hoogland, brings 18 years of experience across the electrical, telecommunications, and civil utility infrastructure construction industries, including 11 years managing electrical, communications, and civil construction projects. A qualified Linesman and Cable Jointer, Carl combines hands-on technical expertise with the project management know-how to deliver work safely, on time, and to a high standard.

We offer a broad range of civil and utility infrastructure services, including:

• Trenching and excavation
• Non-destructive digging (NDD / vacuum excavation)
• Electrical and telecommunications infrastructure (including NBN works)
• Pole-top installation and lineworker services
• Concrete works, restoration, and structural installations

Backed by modern plant and equipment, our team takes on jobs of all sizes, including difficult-access and specialised installations that require careful planning and execution.
